ETHICS LINE SETUP AND OPERATION
According to the research results of the International Association of Fraud Examiners (ACFE), 42% of fraud in businesses involves personnel, customers, suppliers, etc. It is learned through notifications received from sources. The second source of learning about fraud, after reports, is internal audit, with a rate of 16%, and the third source is management reviews, with a rate of 12%.
Since reports are the most important source of learning about fraud in companies, it is of great importance to effectively establish an ethical line mechanism that will receive notifications of personnel or other people. In order for ethical lines to be successful, staff or other people who report should not face any retaliation as a result of the report. Otherwise, they are reluctant to report any acts of abuse they are aware of to reporting lines. In addition, the procedures regarding the hotlines must be prepared correctly and the incoming notifications must be collected objectively and confidentially and examined appropriately.
Related to ethical lines, we ensure its installation, operation, preparation of the procedure and review of the notifications coming to these lines.
CODE OF ETHICS SERVICES
We can describe code of ethics as a set of rules that explain the company's responsibilities to its personnel, the institutions it works with and the public, includes the basic values and principles of the business, and guides the behavior of the employees of the institution. Research shows that the preparation and announcement of an ethical code contributes significantly to the prevention of abuse and that the majority of large corporate companies have ethical codes.
We can state that some of the main purposes of our companies in preparing ethical codes are creating a common corporate culture, protecting, and improving corporate reputation, improving the behavior of its employees, complying with legal requirements, meeting stakeholder expectations, being a socially responsible company and preventing possible abuses.
Within the scope of ethical code services, first of all, we meet with company employees and managers to determine the company culture and needs, create a draft ethical code and present it to the management, and conduct training to increase corporate awareness about the ethical code.
